 For over 15 years, I have been counseling clients to bring more balance and enjoyment to their lives. Certified in both Perinatal Mental Health and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I blend this knowledge to bring a trauma-informed lens to my therapy office. 

I believe that new parents deserve to view themselves with compassion as they go through the learning curve of this transition. Breaking down the perfectionism and accepting help is difficult, but we should be creating spaces where new parents can hold their baby, while their support system holds them.

My approach is compassionate and warm, providing a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Sprinkled with humor and probably the occasional curse word, my sessions are collaborative between myself and my clients.

The perinatal period is not just a professional focus for me, it is a personal one.  After experiencing the stressors and complications of loss and postpartum mental health, I found a huge gap in the training and education of mental health providers, as well as the lack of conversation around what to expect for new moms.

In addition to counseling, I offer trainings and case consultation to group practices, doctors offices and other perinatal aligned spaces.
